The majority of works on this website are paintings and drawings that were created under instruction or on commission. Most artists require years of practice and soul searching to discover what interests them and what expressions they want to portray. I have always been an artist, but I have also looked for acceptance from others. This desire for acceptance has kept me from developing my own potential, and prevented me from creating my own style and impressions. I now realize that my inspiration is life around me, here in Texas. I love to draw and I love creating collages of images and themes. I've learned to appreciate my style and I have no fear that it will turn out well for me. This was a hard lesson to learn.

I'm working on creating a set of paintings that will bring me joy.
